Hi,

when rendering my HD material (AVCHD 1920x1080 50i) to xvid (720x405 2000k 2pass), the rendering process is killed by oom-killer after about two hours. It's a 20 minutes video, the resulting avi file grows to about 1,3 GB (first pass) and shows the first 16 minutes. I inreased my swap space to rather silly values just to try, but the problem remains. I am not really sure if this is a kdenlive bug or another kind of problem in my setup, so I'm posting it here first. Please have a look at the logfile (/var/log/messages) and tell me if I should report this via mantis or what I'm doing wrong here:

Yes, looks like you're right! I had mlt 0.5.0, and after the upgrade to 0.5.4 the problem seems to be gone. :-)
