My Clip Monitor and Timeline are not in sync:
* the video preview in the Clip Monitor is not changing the time location of the "vertical line" in the Timeline * and when I play the timeline video (press Space), the Clip Monitor does not show the real-time preview of the video. You can see the bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnNdjvCOPb4 Is this a feature or a bug? How can I fix that? Thanks, Nikolay |

Go to Menu View and make sure you have both Clip Monitor and Project Monitor checked.

Also make sure 'Realtime' Drop Frames is ticked in the menu on the Clip & Project Monitors. Also try using proxies for your clips, maybe they're too much for your PC to playback realtime?

Is the CLIP monitor supposed to be synced to the timeline at all?
Or is it just an timeline-independent way of previewing the clips? I guess it is the PROJECT monitor that shows the timeline stuff? |

@normcross - THANK YOU! It turned out that I was using the WRONG view - Clip Monitor - instead of the Project Monitor! With the Project Monitor it is working. Thank you a lot, that's saving me enormous time!
