The Kdenlive web site says that a new release will hopefully be made available in March of 2008. It's going to be May in just a few days, and there has been no news. Kdenlive has the promise of being the pre-eminent video editing software for Linux. I really hope the project is not dead. To whoever might be developing... forget new features. Stability is all that's needed right now to solidify Kdenlive as the one video editor that matters.
