I'm having a strange playback issue where Kdenlive plays back at 6-8 frames per second, even though ffplay and Inigo play back easily at 30fps.

Is anyone else here having slow, choppy playback? If you are and are using the Kdenlive Builder Wizard to install it would help us to confirm this bug if you could do the following easy steps:

1. In the command line navigate to the Kdenlive bin folder (where the Kdenlive_start.sh script and Kdenlive binary are).

2. type ./inigo {path/to/some/video} (replacing the bits in {} with a path to a real video). Watch video and close.

3. type ./ffplay {path/to/some/video} (replacing the bits in {} with a path to a real video). Watch video and close.

4. Post here whether the video's played smooth in steps 2 and 3.

All the HD material I have here is 1080i in some Sony MTS format (don't know from which cam), and it plays back very slow in ffplay. Kdenlive just shows grey instead of the video when I press play. I can bugtest for you if you put one of your files online, my hardware is slightly older than yours since I'm using Radeon9800.
