Hi like maybe someone knows i am developing a kdenlive service menu for dolphin..
i am supporting right know gnome via zenity but i would like remove mplayer like dependeces...

why mplayer ?

videolenght[$i]=$(mplayer -identify "$line" -ao null -vo null -frames 0 2>/dev/null | awk -F= '/ID_LENGTH=/{print $2}')

mplayer is the most stable i have found i mean ffmpeg is keeping to change output ffmpeg -i INPUT 2>&1 | grep something

so i would be fantastic if melt could give me some informations about videos

melt -profile some-profile some-media -consumer xml

The length property is a frame count, which must be computed against the profile fps to get a clock value.
