Just getting started with Kdenlive. Looks really good so far. My first test project is going to consist of various jpeg's with an audio track. Is there a way that a transition can be applied automatically to each imported jpeg file?

Add your JPEGs as a Slideshow Clip. The Slideshow Clip dialog lets you apply a dissolve or wipe transition.
