i use kdenlive use very times it's good for me but 1 thing not resoved my problem..
my problem and risult:
-project document is svcd-pal
-my clip video is HDfull
i insert a clip(hdfull) in track, it's works as fine but video hdfull is resize-automatic (1924x1080 to svcd) this is automatic to rezise but i wanted "not-resize automatic" because i need original video in hd in track like as effect scale and move...but I'm hard to explain you but i do a draw for you with my example ok?

there is similar: "clip title"
clip title :i insert image superlarge and close clip title and i insert clip title in track it, it's natural because i did use clip title and setting it (move,scala,rotate) but not video....

but i did: clip video (hdfull-original) and rezise in track automatic and i add effect "crop" but is not result for me like my draw-image (see my image attack)...
effect crop is not good for me because miss "move" and bad to "work in progress" and bad risult video...this is lose my time job...like as 4 hours for this problem...

i think best result is clip title add in video, this is missign but it's very use for other my job...

OK but where is PAN and ZOOM in effect? i found: "scale0tilt" and i'm not found pan and zoom....where???

It is under "crop and scale"
Unless your Kdenlive version is too old....

In the effect list dock widget there should be a folder "Crop & Scale": This one contains the Pan and Zoom effect. You can of course also use the search bar in the widget.
If you cannot find it use the affine transition.

i did try all folder for to try..it's not good...because it's hard to setting durant work in progress, it's not fast easy...i wanted only "on/off mode original size from clip-video, use pan with mouse on display, not use numbers x,y (option) ok? not to be complicated ok?"

"Traslazione e ingrandimento" IS the "Pan and Zoom" effect.

Nevertheless, I think an option: "Keep Original Clip Size" vs. "Fit Clip to Project Size" should exist for all clips, so the user could easily decide how they want each clip to behave.
(and probably with a "Default Clip Size" behaviour option in the Settings panel too)

i try more times.. i'm 70% to goal to resolved rpoblem but i think there is problem, when i chose pan and zoom, but 100% "resize" not work this is bug but i try change vaule 101% resize is work but not 100 because export video is bad... you try with kdenlive pan and zoom and try to pan to left or right to 100 pixel, resize is 100% and you do export video and player ok? and do change size 101% and export and it's is work..

100% = 100% of project resolution, not clip resolution. I do not understand your English enough to give a specific answer to your questions.

Here is another approach... remove Pan and Zoom. Add the Composite Transition, you can just put clip on the bottom video track and composite with the hidden black background track. Stretch the transition to the clip duration. Click the transition to open its options. Move to the first key frame. Next, turn OFF the Fill option, and set the size % to something very high like 999%. Finally, move the rectangle to choose the sub-area you are interested in.

Explanation: with Fill OFF, the Composite rectangle defines a limit instead of a target size. The program will only scale _down_ to fit the clip inside the rectangle and not try to scale _up_ to fill the rectangle. Since you have set a very large size, it will not scale

ok i use your solution but test for progress is 2 minut for change scala vaule example i did try scale 100% and 104% 110% etc, also move try try it's long time for to arrange... do y undy..?

Perhaps this is not the best place to put this kind of message, but I'd really like that in a certain point in the evolution of Kdenlive, certain properties such as transforms (position, rotation, scale, adjust to project size) and compositing ones (opacity, blend modes, alpha usage) to be considered as basic clip properties and be automatically present for all clips in the timeline.

This would be a big improvement in the workflow for all that has to do with compositing and editing beyond a simple cuts only edition.

I guess it's not a simple programming task to put those properties by default in every clip, but for the user would be really great!
