This is my first project with kdenlive. Video is playing fine on the timeline.

I have rendered to DVD, but the file *.vob I have obtained freezes for few seconds at the end of each clip (with transition or not).

Moreover, in one case, I have cut a clip and deleted a part of it. Playing on the timeline I don't see that part. However, after rendering, it has not been deleted.

Just out of curiosity, I have rendered a small part of the video to H264 mp4 and there are not the problems reported above. It seems that rendering to DVD is broken. Rendering to mpeg2 is fine.

My version of Kdenlive is 0.7.7.1 debian (unstable).

What is the format of the source files? I have had some issues that sound similar with MJPEG video files. Is the preview of the last frame all white?

The source files are MP4 (H264) 1080p 30fps from a Sanyo FH1 camera. I cannot check now the last frame since I have deleted the file.

I am assuming that you see this problem prior to any DVD Video authoring and disc playback. Kdenlive and MLT do not do anything special when rendering to DVD vs. MPEG-2. Any differences would reside in FFmpeg libs.
