I know that it is a limited feature in current state because you have to have a capture card, but i think that the new stop motion utility is a really big deal and should be listed in the features of 0.8.
I mean kdenlive is the only linux stop motion program that has decent rendering and editing options as it is integrated with a video editor. and now that it exists, development can continue to make it a bit more feature rich in the future but either way, i think it's a really big deal for the linux world and it's worth listing on the 0.8 notes on the site http://kdenlive.org/discover/0.8 (unless of course this feature was dropped, which would be horribly unwise) |
