Hello I deleted pulseaudio because it was causing tremendous problems with Rosegarden, but first checked that it was OK do do without for Kdenlive, which seemmed to me to be the case based on a quick search. However now I get no sound.

In Settings>Configure Kdenlive>Playback I have audio driver to ALSA and chosen audio device as ALC1200 Analogue. Am I missing something?

Kdenlive 0.8
MLT 0.7.2.

[update] OK -- got it! ran sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2debian-alsa and everythings hunky dory.
