Hi all, Recently I've started to get loads of things like Replaced wrong clip producer producer0 with 5 Replaced wrong clip producer producer0 with 5 Replaced wrong clip producer producer1 with 5 Replaced wrong clip producer producer1 with 5 when opening projects. On the command line I see things like: kdenlive(24751) TrackView::slotAddProjectTrack: CANNOT INSERT CLIP "producer0" kdenlive(24751) TrackView::slotAddProjectTrack: CANNOT INSERT CLIP "producer0" kdenlive(24751) TrackView::slotAddProjectTrack: CANNOT INSERT CLIP "producer1" kdenlive(24751) TrackView::slotAddProjectTrack: CANNOT INSERT CLIP "producer1" blank without a playlist - a definite no no Entry not part of a playlist... blank without a playlist - a definite no no Entry not part of a playlist... blank without a playlist - a definite no no blank without a playlist - a definite no no Entry not part of a playlist... Entry not part of a playlist... Invalid state of playlist end 2 Possibly relatedly, I've also started seeing problems again where kdenlive claims I can't move clips for no good reason, or where deleting one clip makes another stop playing (i.e. it just shows black; both clips were parts of the same long source clip). It's hard for me to make testcases for this, because I don't know when working at what point something goes wrong. Only when I try do something like move a clip and it fails, or when I reload, do I discover there has been a problem at some earlier point. It's pretty infuriating working like this. I can't do more than a trivial amount of work without saving and reloading, for fear of losing what I've done, but even for my trivial projects it takes minutes for a project to load. Is there some way I can help get the bugs fixed? Perhaps compiling with a flag which makes kdenlive check consistency after each action, and print some diagnostics if something went wrong? Or logging all actions that take place, which would allow someone to go through and see where something bad happened? It would be fairly easy for me to send the start and end .kdenlive file that such a log corresponds to. I have kdenlive r5764 and melt 520c3cf478cb312418ba2b9c51aa2873025c675a. Thanks Ian |
