I am testing an HV20 camcorder for my new film.

It really offers superb results and I can only recommend this camcorder.

This is the Europe 24P/60i version of the camcorder.

I was able to use dvgrab to acquire video.

Two questions:

1) Is there a true 24P mode in Kdenlive. How to add it if not already present?

2) As far as I understand, dvgrab does not remove pulldown. How to remove pulldown under GNU/Linux. I don't have access to Windows computers for years.

It would be nice to have a final pull-down removal option during rendering.

This would allow to work in full 24P without original conversion.

It would certainly make Kdenlive one of the best choices for short film makers.
