Custom Resolution and FPS?

Tue Sep 09, 2008 6:34 am

I'd like to put a view videos together i did record on the PC (screen recording)

It is not exactely ideal source material for rescaling. FPS are also low. So i'd like to just keep resolution and fps.

However, i couldn't yet find a way to do so. Please add a way to specify resolution and fps for a project. Also - maybe a "match project resolution/fps with clip"-shortcut would be nice ...

You need to create a custom profile.

I don't know how to do it, should be easy.

Define easy.

I did search quite a lot, but i didn't yet search the sources.

I guess it's rather easy to add a new profile in the kdenlive sources and rebuild, but i'm looking for a eaven more easy way :)

Any other tips?

btw - i'm using the current debian binary package of kdenlive

In Kdenlive 0.7 svn, choose menu Configuration->Manage profiles.

Choose a profile and customize it.

I will make a video tutorial tonight as this question comes again and again.

Stay tuned.
