KDE Team,

Just wanted to drop a note to say "thanks!" for all the work on Kdenlive.

I had installed the version available from the Ubuntu repository but was having trouble with crashes, playback problems, etc. Found the recommendation here to update to 7.8 and VERY glad I did! No crashes so far and playback on my laptop is MUCH improved!

Keep up the great work...Kdenlive is by far the best editor I have found on Linux.

Would like to second that, am loving kdenlive, never knew such software existed until The Register did a roundup of Linux video editors. Can now bin that copy of Pinnacle I have been using, **** software compared to kdenlive
