Canon XF-100/XF-105 support

Wed Dec 28, 2011 9:06 pm
Hi

I'm using Kdenlive for a month and I find it very useful.
The problem is that it's not supporting Canon .mxf file format properly.
It shouldn't be a big problem if it is possible to edit .mxf. Only rendering makes video desynchronized with audio.
Is there any chance to solve that in near future? I have just quit Adobe Premiere and I'm happy with Kdenlive but converting clips takes to much time :(

thanks

Have you tried splitting the audio and video streams in kdenlive, or just quickly remuxing into a matroska container, it's in the transcode menu. Not sure if either will help.

btw it's not necessarily just kdenlive that could have issue with mxf but the underlying ffmpeg and that is shared by many video / audio applications.
