A little offtopic, but does anyone know whether there is a console tool that would extract metadata from a DV file - Date/Time (ideally for the beginning of the stream and its end), time code, audio and video format information?

Kino shows this information in a clip's properties, KDEnlive is unable to show it AFAIK.

And I'm looking for a way to use this data in shell scripts and for avoiding to launch Kino all the time.
