I have Debian/etch stable with http://www.debian-multimedia.org apt lines.

I have installed kdenlive and I start it from a terminal window, but when I try to add a .dv file grabbed with kino kdenlive crashes with the following messages in terminal, can anyone help me?

I cannot reproduce.

I imported DV file into my existing project (mpeg clips), I created a new project. All seem sto be OK.

Raw DV, captured by Kino 1.0.

Kdenlive 0.4, mtl 0.2.3, SUSE, Pacman repos.

The problem is that your FFMPEG install seems to have the swscaler enabled (it was recently introduced in FFMPEG) and your MLT version seems to be compiled without the swscaler flag. Try to find an updated MLT version compiled with the swscaler option.
