Curves, Exposure adjust, Saturation Adjust, 3 Way CC, Sharpen, Denoise etc etc

Hi
I shot some test footage at the weekend and paid a lot of attention to not clipping by over exposing using the zebra patten in the viewfinder, subsequently the footage in other areas is a bit on the dark side. :-) Out of the kdenlive filters available how can i adjust the Exposure, Saturation and probably denoise the shadows? Is there an Exposure Max filter which would highlight the areas of the frame overexposed and under exposed by the CC adjustments? When I use the RGB Parade or Vectorscope and then say add a brightness filter I can't seem to see the RGB parade change or viewable even when sliding the brightness up and down. I seem to have to adjust the brightness, disable it to view the RGB Parade and then back again. Also is there a Luma waveform plugin? Any advice would be appreciated on the approach to correcting my test shots. Also is it possible to capture HDV footage as AVI with dvgrab? Kdenlive 0.7.3 doesn't seem to like Canon HV30 for capturing so doing it command line. Thanks |

Frei0r plugins provide saturat0r, contrast0r, and White Balance. Also, there are Brightness and Gamma filters; do they count for exposure control?
There is no denoise yet, surprised its not in frei0r. The vectorscope is not integrated in a way to really be that useful right now. Finally, no, dvgrab can not store HDV in an AVI. That does not seem to be very useful. HDV is transport stream, which is already a container format. |
