Hi folks, I've installed KDENLIVE both, from source and via apt-get and have been successful either way. My OS is Kubuntu 7.04.
Entering either of those paths the MsgBox reappears. When I run a (as far as I understand) MLT-based application like miracle or inigo no problem about not finding the MLT installation is reported. So why does this MsgBox keep me asking? I appreciate any suggestions! Corbin |

You need to provide the prefix where MLT is installed. In your case, it is: I am working on the issue so that Kdenlive can find it without user interaction. |

Being not familiar with the MLT framework, I don't know if there should be some kind of executable program or something similar. But I can't find any. I will post a directory listing of the two directories. I hope this can help you telling me, if there is somethin missing. Again: thank you for your help Cheers

Kdenlive needs a very recent MLT svn version. Where $prefix seems to be /usr in your case. I think you are using an old MLT version that doesn't provide the profiles stuff. Please try uninstalling MLT, updating to the latest svn MLT version and reinstall MLT. regards jb |
