Too many output file names.

Usage: dvgrab [options] [file] [-]

Try dvgrab --help for more information

pipe:: I/O error occured

Usually that means that input file is truncated and/or corrupted.

Tried dvgrab and it worked fine. This has been happening since I went to Ubuntu Studio for Gutsy..Is it a file read/write permissions error?

You are using an unsupported dvgrab version.

For DV capture, you need dvgrab 2.1

For DV and HDV capture you need dvgrab 3.1

dvgrab 3.0 has a bug that prevents it from working with Kdenlive
