Hi everybody, I'm working on a rather huge project, let's say about 2 hours DVD about my Ladakh trekking. So, for better performances, I splitted it in three smaller projects, planning to merge them together before rendering to DVD. The problem is that when I try to merge the second project to the first, the clips are added in the clips list, but the timeline content of the second project is completely ignored, no matter if I choose to merge it at the current position, at the beginning or at the end of the timeline. Is it a bug? Btw, I tried to workaround this problem by building a new empty project and loading the three sub-projects as clips, planning to join them in the timeline, but when I try to add a project as a clip, kdenlive crashes. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance. kalb |

Hi. The "project merging" feature is not finished yet, currently, as you noticed, it only imports clips in the project view but not in timeline... Adding projects as clips should not crash though... Which Kdenlive version are you using and can you send me a backtrace ? from a terminal, type : You can post the backtrace here or send it to me jb at kdenlive org |
