I am just having trouble trying to establish a project with a resolution 512 x 288. Is it possible to customise or am I stuck with existing standards? Many Thanks. Jack.

Sorry we didn't answer before but you must understand that we are not many people working on that project, and that we do it in our free time. Besides that, a lot of energy is currently going into the KDE4 porting, in which we try to integrate user ideas.

If you are using a recent version of Mlt, you should have a folder with video profiles. By default, it is:

/usr/local/share/mlt/profiles

If you installed in a different path, it may be /usr/share/mlt/profiles or something else.

In that folder, you will find simple text files that describe video formats. Just copy one of that file, give it the name you want and adjust the parameters in it. Then, when you open Kdenlive, the new profile should appear in the list.

I have not tested this but it should work. Good luck
