Hello,
I have a dumb question :-( I probably missed a command.

When looking a a clip on the clip monitor, it's possible to set entry points and end points. But I can't see how to insert the video between these points in the timeline?

I can have a similar result by inserting the hole clip and cutting the parts I don't want, but then I don't see any use for tha entry/end pointsd in the clip monitor :-)

thanks

After setting in and out points in the clip monitor, drag the clip to the timeline from the clip monitor, not from the project tree.

You can also drag your in out edit to the project tree and get a sub clip beneath the parent clip and give it a description then drag that to the timeline that way you can keep track of those edits with description and count and parent they came from. When you have multiple shots very similar its easy to see where the edits came from.
