Running kdenlive on Ubuntu 7.10. All is good (but save often!) except that I cannot see how to re-integrate the monitor windows back into the default top right half of the main workarea. I had clicked the pre-set 1 button which separated the monitor into a new window, but none of the other buttons seem to do anything - I'm sure it's easy but what on Earth do I do?! Cheers, Nick |

on the monitor window that's now separated, in the top right hand corner there should be an x to close it and next to that an arrow, this should cause it to jump back into place. |

I got the same problem. All windows are separate. I can re-merge them into one but they are all full screen width which make Kdenlive impossible to use. |

You need to delete the file kdenliverc. Probably located in .kde/share/config. This will restore the default window settings. |

Thanks - this is just what I needed too, as I had removed 'completely' and reinstalled but still had the faulty separate monitor window displaying (with no 're-integrate' down sloping arrow) - all fixed now 8-) |
