my first look at Kdenlive shows me exactly the stuff I need for my projects. The installation via Yast worked perfectly, the application runs, but unfortunately I can see any results of my work in the preview-windows. I tried to insert a slideshow-clip and an ogg-audio-file into the timeline. It works, but when I want to start the preview I get only a black screen. What is wrong there? Can anybody help me?

Kdenlive 0.6 is deprecated. Update to the latest SVN version or wait for the latest release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Check http://www.kdenlive.org/content/kdenliv ... 1-released for more instructions. Packman has packages, but they are more than a month old. Note the easy-to-use wizard on the compile page.

Ok, the developement goes on :o ! That's very great! Thank you for your answers - I will try the new versions and post a feedback then. :D
