I'm thinking of buying a Canon XH-A1 (firewire connection)

Are there any compatibility or codec issues with this camera? Or has anyone had any experience either good or bad?

So far, we are not aware of incompatibility with any HDV Mpeg2 or DV camcorders.

Maybe you should test with a laptop in a shop. Adding information to the camcorder list is important and I ask everyone with a camcorder not listed to help us list camcorders.
