Wrong clip size - change clip info

Fri Jan 23, 2009 3:27 pm

Hello,

When I insert new clip an look in clip info, it have wrong size. Consequences are, the clip have black border.

I'm 99% sure if I fix clip information about the size in corect value it will do it.

Is possible to do this in Kdenlive?

If not you knew any program which can?

thanks

What is the size of the clip then, and what does kdenlive display? Does the rendered clip have a black border or only the preview?

Real size of the clip is 1280x720, if I look clip propertis in kdenlive it is 720x576. Rendered and preview clip have black borders, because kdenlive use wrong clip size.

What does ffmpeg -i <filename> show? The clip resolution displayed in kdenlive or the correct one? Just curious :)

I also had problems with an mp3 file which stopped 20 seconds before end, and I found out that it was sort of corrupted.

You can change the sample aspect ratio in the Advanced section of the Clip Properties. Also, you can crop out the black using the Crop effect, but you can not change the size.
