XML support Blender

Sun Jan 06, 2013 4:44 pm
Recently Blender has implemented EDL and XML import.
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Import-Export/EDL_Import
So that editors can work with their favorite application and do color grading or vfx struffs inside blender. It now has support only for FCP XML and CMX3600 EDL, now missing kdenlive XML reading capability. Though kdenlive could have come up with an EDL exporter, but i don't think developers of kdenlive would take interest in developing this. This is the proof.

Its been almost a year i posted this feature request on mantis.

The author of the EDL import script of blender is ready do give simple example importer if some developers wants to implement this feature. If any of the Kdenlive developers look into this we can make this program serious for professional use.

Contact the developer through this forum
