I am new to Ubuntu and kdenlive. So far I have not been able to run kdenlive stable. I originally installed Ubuntu 9.04 32 bit version and kdenlive 0.7.3 that was available with package manager. This continually crashed. When 0.7.4 came out I had ago at installing it using the configuration wizard. This too never ran stable. A few weeks ago I bit the bullet and installed a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit version. I installed 0.7.4 using the Ubuntu PPA that was available and yesterday I upgrade to 0.7.5 using the new PPA for Ubuntu.
What I have been finding, after the fresh install with both 0.7.4 and now with 0.7.5 I can watch part of a clip in the clip monitor and it is fine for a little while and then all of a sudden the video freezes and Kdenlive locks up and will not respond. What should I do to troubleshoot this further? |
