Hiya everybody,
I found Kdenlive on the ubuntu forum and decided to give it a try, the user interface looks awesome and easy to use, unfortunately since I installed it, I didn't stop have issues, my first one was the rendering, I couldn't render anything at all, so I tried to fix it by trying the tips given in the forum, but it didn't work, so I tried to make a fresh new install, and since then I can't import any kind of file (music, video) in my project, from .mp3 to .ogv.
While trying to fix the rendering I must have messed something up...
I am not giving up on this software but I wish it did work after the first installation.
Does anyone have got any idea of what could cause my import problem?

Thanks in advanced for your answers

Which versions of Kdenlive, MLT and MLT++ do you have? You may also need to install the unstripped versions of FFmpeg's libraries:
http://kdenlive.org/user-manual/troubleshooting-and-common-problems/i-cannot-render-specific-format-xvid-mpeg-4-flash-it

I recommend that you delete your $HOME/.kde/share/config/kdenliverc file and restart kdenlive.

Right I must have done something very stupid...
I run this command line
sudo apt-get install libavcodec-unstripped-52 libavdevice-unstripped-52 libavfilter-unstripped-0 libavformat-unstripped-52 libavutil-unstripped-49 libpostproc-unstripped-51 libswscale-unstripped-0
then kdenlive disappeared, and now I can't install it anymore

EDIT:
I finally was able to install it again, here is a screenshot of my config wizard
Here is what i got when I try to import a clip

oh and by the way, in the render options, all the video codecs seem to be supported (I can't try to render because I can't import any file)
