Is it possible to speed up Kdenlive by granting it more disk space to spool from?

Disc space has no impact on Kdenlive speed. We expect Kdenlive and MLT video engine to support VDPAU hardware decoding, which will speed up editing. Rendering speed depends on the number of cores for several exports, example : x264.
