Animated gif import

I have a series of animated gif files that I want to import into kdenlive and then export as a .mp4. Is it possible to import animated gifs?

No, sorry. You will need to transcode them outside Kdenlive.

Thanks! I found that the gap plugin for gimp can export to avi, so solved my problems
