I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 (though problem has existed since 9.10) with Kdenlive 0.7.7.1 and I'm having problems previewing a project in the clip monitor

When I add individual clips I can view them in the clip monitor, but whenever I add one of these to the timeline and try to view the whole project the clip montior doesn't update. If I switch onto the Record Monitor tab and then back to Clip Monitor it'll play but then whenever I move the seeker bar playback freezes (but audio still plays)

Fyi, the video that I'm currently having trouble with is http://www.archive.org/details/insect_zoo, though it seems to happen on most long videos

The preview of the timeline can be seen in the project monitor not in the clip monitor.

The Project Monitor usually displays, so not sure why after upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04 it was suddenly hidden. Ah well, it works now!
