Is there a possibility of using libcaca and libaa in kdenlive for generating ascii-like video effects?

afaik libcaca is for plain text but maybe this might help: http://ascii.dyne.org/

You can use libcaca and libaa for video playback in vlc and mplayer as well as for still images, so thought it might be possible for kdenlive to use it as an effect
