Hi,
I'm sorry, it's probably a simple RTFM issue, but I just can't find the information. Dvgrab offers different file types (DV avi type 1, type 2 , raw DV...) and I noticed you ask to provide footage in raw DV for the "supported camcorder" section, and that's what I did. But is it mandatory to use the raw dv format in kdenlive? I'm asking this because I've been fiddling with kdenlive (0.7.4 on Fedora 11) with DV avi type 1 footage, experiencing some problems (transitions that just won't work, blurry lines on clips speeded up) and I don't know, could it be related? Thank you. |

To the best of my knowledge, DV should have very good support, in all formats.
If you can reproduce the problem using some < 30 MB clips, you should file an issue in the issue tracker: www.kdenlive.org/mantis |

ok, thanks.
for now, I've created the dv camera page ( http://www.kdenlive.org/video-editor/canon-mv700 ) with a link to some raw footage. I'll wait 0.7.5 to be packaged for fedora, then I'll try again and file a bug report in case. |
