Hi,

As far as I understand the "Add Clip > Image Sequence" should import an entire set of images and treat it as one video clip. That doesn't work (anymore?) in 0.9.2.

Kdenlive is either not importing images or it just imports a number of images as separate clips each 5 seconds long (or whatever you set you default clip length). I do need this image sequence as my image sequence (from blender) has an alfa channel for transparency.

Am I correct about the supposed functioning?
If so, please let me know and I will file a bug.

-- EDIT: --
Just some additions to make sure that my way of working is correct:
- I open a folder containing a set of images 1-250
- I select the first image and mark the two check boxes at the bottom: "Import image sequence" and "Transparent background for images" and select "open". I now get the error "/media/PUBLIC/Shared Videos/blender_title_image_sequences/Kleinwalsertal2012-800px/KWT2012-800px%0001d.png"
- OR -
- I select all images with both checkboxes set and I just get 250 images of 5 seconds.

This is really a bug. I posted a bug report at http://kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=2633

I uninstalled 0.9.2 and removed the sunab ppa from my sources and reinstalled the "standard" 0.8.2.1 for/from Ubuntu 12.04 repositories and that one works correct with image sequences.

I did a complete clean and reinstall and now it works. This is fully described in the bug ticket in the Mantis system: http://kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=2633.

[EDIT]: MLT has been upgraded from 0.78 to 0.80 for 0.9.2. Probably the 0.78 version caused the issue.
