Hi,

with a large source clip playing in the Clip Monitor I set inpoint, outpoint and than with one key (i have choosen the 'p' for 'insert clip to timeline') append the new zone to the selected timeline.

That goes quite well, but with the next clip zone, the clip marker of the last inserted one in the timeline is at the clip's start,
so no other insert is possible.

I have to switch to the timeline, strg+end to set the marker to the end, switch back to clip-monitor and continue.

It would be very nice to just do I-O-P, I-O-P without leaving the clip source window.

Is there a way to do that? I do not like using the mouse because it is too slow, I have only short takes and
sometimes only 5s in between, so the clip source window loops while i place the new zone with the mouse.

I'm using 0.7.7 rev4319 at the moment...

Thank you in advance

I've been thinking about filing a feature request for this myself. Like you said currently the only way for this without using the mouse is to;

- select a zone (in/out) : I, O
- insert zone in timeline : ctrl-shift-I
- switch to project monitor/timeline : T
- go to project end : ctrl+end
- switch to clip monitor : T

From a previous post I'm guessing some function like 'Timeline' > 'Insertion' > 'Insert Clip Zone in Timeline (Add)' is under construction right now:

- so I'll wait for now :)
