Open Source Video Compositor

Sun Oct 25, 2009 10:14 pm
Hi All!

I'm developing an open source node compositor.
It's in an early stage of development, and some
features are missing, but I think it could be
interesting to you. It works on linux and OSX.

It handles image sequences, has the basic tools,
a flipbook to play image sequences, bezier masks, ...
Animation is being worked on.

It is here: http://ramenhdr.sourceforge.net/
There's also a blog http://ramenhdr.blogspot.com/
with more screenshots, development ideas
and help with the compilation.

Thank you!

Sorry if off-topic.

I tested recently (there's a ppa available) and it's very promising. It's still lacking in usability, but it's already usable after only a few months, so let's hope development continues to go at that rate !

I wonder if someone can build a mlt plugin that would pipe video clips from kdenlive and openshot into ramen so that ramen can act as a plugin for the video project. I explained that the hard way, but I think you know what I mean! LOL!
