am i doing something wrong?

when adding a Title Clip, i can type a title in the window BUT the "OK" button is greyed out, so basically i can not add it into the Project Tree

did i miss something?

or is this a bug?

Slideshow Clip is the same too.

Which MLT version do you have and where did you get it? If the titler is not available, it usually means that the QImage MLT module is not compiled in MLT.

i dont think i have teh QImage module,

the MLT says version 0.5

how do i install QImage module?

To see if you have the QImage module run:
melt -query producers
For titles it is necessary to have "qimage" and "kdenlivetitle".
If one is missing you need to install a different MLT package or compile it with qimage support enabled.
