Im new to kdenlive and i must say it's a great program!

Im running Arch-linux x86, latests updates installed and kdenlive 0.7.6
recordmydesktop 0.3.8.1

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV610 LE AGP [Radeon HD 2400 PRO AGP]


When i do a screengrab with recordmydesktop (or just using recordmydesktop on console) i only get a gray mess as video.

Running X with gnome and composite enabled.

You might check around the recordmydesktop project. Kdenlive simply launches it as a child. Yeah, you might get some feedback here, but more likely to get it at recordmydesktop if they have a decent community.
