I am really liking Kdenlive!

I am making videos with a MiniDV camcorder, but using it as just a pass-through capture device through 1394. Is it possible to capture the video but have the audio coming from a separate audio interface? (not from the DV connection) Or better yet, have multi-track capture and capture several audio streams along with the DV at the same time?
