Sony handycam with kdenlive

Hi ,everybody. I want to transfer video from a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV270E PAL via firewire (dvgrab installed) but the kdenlive doesn't recognize the device.Is it supported by kdenlive? Do you have any idea what to do?I can't find a way to transfer video.
