libx264: statistics are damaged

Fri Feb 12, 2010 3:08 pm
Hi,

I use kdenlive 0.7.6. (under Linux Mint 8 x64 - CPU 2 Cores - 4go RAM)
I add 2 shorts movies (Motion JPEG and Uncompressed audio) in my project.

I make a rendering in pre-slect

H.264 100k 2 pass (in mp4 file)

1 pass 0-100% OK
2 pass 0-100% OK

BUT

100% (of 2 pass) error message

Le rendu de /home/pc-1/kdenlive/test.mp4 a été interrompu par une erreur fatale
[libx264 @ 0x11300c0]statistics are damaged at line 0, parser out=3

What'is this crash ?

I need help ...

It looks like some compatibility problem between MLT, FFmpeg, and x264, which can be tricky to diagnose and fix. It is probably very version dependent.
Is the output file playable?
Does one pass work?
