I did post a bug report on this and Im getting conflicting opinions from the fedora forums. So, Iam posting here just to clarify: Is anyone else having this issue, Is it just a procedure change when working with a composite effect, Is this a bug between mlt and kdenlive like they say that will be fixed in ver 0.8.2.
Problem recap: I have installed on fedora 14 with latest using yum, Installed: kdenlive.x86_64 0:0.8-1.fc14 Dependency Installed: mlt.x86_64 0:0.7.4-1.fc14 I add a composite transition and right click on the composite and have virtually no options but "Edit Duration, copy, Automatic Transition". I have no option to delete the composite layer anywhere I can find. I cannot resize it or do anything with it. I also do not get a transition screen with the red box representing the clip. I get a blank tab for transition. Therefore, I cannot resize by clicking and dragging a corner or anything. I hope I explained things good enough. I did take screenshots but I have not discovered if I can post them here. I guess Im asking if anyone else can confirm this problem? thanks, coffee412 |

Ok, I guess Im all alone on this one. I will wait for the .0.8.2 version release and cross my fingers.
I will say, Thank you for such a fantastic program (seriously). Ive done quite a bit with it and love it so far. Too bad I ran into this glitch. But it will work it way out... coffee |
