How do I import audio for my project?

Tue Apr 27, 2010 10:56 pm
I'm just getting started with Kdenlive and the learning curve seems to be fairly short, but for me to do what I need to do, I need to be able to import audio files to add to the project and either mix with, or replace the recorded audio with.

I find nothing anywhere that gives any indication that kdenlive can do this... but it makes no sense that such would not be possible. How do I do this? Thanks!

Hi shannon,

simply add the files to your project as you do with your movie files. Then drag and drop to an audio track. That's it.

Thank you so much for the rely. I wouldn't have even asked if it had worked yesterday when I tried it... it wasn't seeing any other files than video files... and when I tried to load them, it would crash. Now today it's working just like you said. I must have been in need of more sleep or something. Thanks for taking the time to respond to such a ridiculously simple thing.
