Hi!
I have problems with effect stack saving, or I understand something wrong... I set and customize several effects ( Fade in/out, FromBlack/ToBlack ) for a clip in the effect stack. Here it works onto the clip. Then I save it an it appears in the custom folder. When I assign it to another clip just the Name of the Effect is placed on it, not its 4 single effects. Nor has it any effect onto the clip itself ( in Projectmonitor ). So what do I do wrong. lg nick |

I just tried this and had the same problem so can confirm it. I guess you would need to report it as a bug. As a workaround you may be able to use the Transition (little green triangle) between tracks instead.

Saving of multiple effects isn't supported yet. You can only save one effect at a time.
A solution if you are in the same project: - Set up your effects. - Right click on the clip with the effects : copy. - Then right click on the clip you also want to have the effects: paste effects. |

Wow you can actually copy/paste effects !
Seriously I thought this wasn't possible, simply because I was expecting to have copy/paste buttonsin the effect stack instead of the clip. I think that copy/paste buttons in the effect stack would be a nice addition. |

OK, good workaround so far.
Their is still a little bug I think, maybe some of you can reproduce that. Let's say you assign - Fade in/out, FromBlack/ToBlack - and set the duration time to 1 sec each. Sometimes when you copy effect it is set to a time like 11:55.xx instead keeping 1:00. Especially on Fade in Effect. Or has this something to do with selection? Couldn't figure it out yet. lg nick |
