Love Kdenlive but have a question

Mon Jul 19, 2010 6:39 am
I was actually thinking of switching back to windows for Sony Vegas and WMM but Kdenlive beats them both! Absolutely loving this program, I will definitely be donating in the future.

My question is, how do I change the default time that a picture is on the timeline from 5 seconds to 2 seconds? I need to add alot of pictures and don't want to do it manually.

Thanks in advanced, and love to all developers of KdenLive my new favorite software.

You may want to take a look at the «Add slideshow» entry ;)

Oh okay awesome, thanks! Is there any way that it could auto resize the images so when the wipe happens it doesn't look so dramatically different if you get what I'm trying to say? As in have all the images stretch out to 320x240 or whatever size is being worked with?

Thanks again.

I would use David's batch processor plugin. You can batch resize all your pictures. It is included in Gimp.

Thanks for the reply, could you give me a tutorial on how to use that?

(I prefer imagemagick's command line:
$ for i in *.jpg; do convert -resize 320x240 $i scaled_$i; done
:) )
