What happens if you load a swf file? You might have to change the filter in the open file dialog from "All supported files" to "All files".

It actually loads the file, but only sound is displayed. |

At one point, I experimented with SWF support[1]; however, I did not follow through due to distraction and priorities. Somewhat surprisingly, hardly anyone has asked about or requested this. I suppose this is because not many Linux users use the Flash tool.
