How can I avoid automatic scaling

Tue Dec 28, 2010 10:35 am
Hello everybody,

I want to place two videos (720x576) next to each other on a more than double sized output.
These shall stay at their original size.

When I place either of them on the timeline they are automatically resized. I can place a resize and move filter on them to bring them to original size. One of them is additionally moved to the right. That is not practical or nice but seems to work.

The next step is combining them via composite. As soon as I apply compositing, the first video shrinks, so the whole output area would fit into the dimensions resize was given. When removing composit the video stays in excatly this size - weird.

I wonder if there is no simple way of placing videos in original size and compositing them.

Thanks,
Florian

Use the composite transition and turn off the Fill option.
