In Mac OS X trying to install kdenlive gives - Error: Unable to execute port: couldn't open "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_multimedia_kdenlive/work/.macports.kdenlive.state": permission denied
I have tried to change permissions, even running Repair Permissions in Disk Utility. |

You might have to rebuild your ports but you might be able to sudo chmod the given file. I'm not sure what type of chmod you would want to use for that fill however.

Long story short: I have two volumes on my Mac. Decided to do a new install of the OS on 2nd volume: done and fully upgraded. Began kdenlive installation after using MacPorts from subversion. Now have everything in place EXCEPT for qimageblitz, which prevents kdebase4-runtime from installing and thus blocks kdenlive. I've been posting on Trac and gotten help from maintainers on everything up to this point, but there is no maintainer for qimageblitz.
Does anyone have any ideas? I will provide any other logs/reports that I can. The basic error, however, is: "Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command failed". Debug file attached. I probably should have started a new thread, and if so, I apologize. Do better next time. |
